Damn straight about that one!

“But I am an eternal optimist and believe that tomorrow the sun is going to shine brighter than it has shone before.”
Those aren't my words: those are the words of Errol McLeod, MP for Pointe-a-Pierre.

Damn straight about that one, Senor McLeod!

Viva UNC!

Where are these 126,000 housing applicants?

Re: http://www.newsday.co.tt/news/0,139706.html
wherein it is stated by Housing Minister, Roodal Moonilal, that:
"...126,000 citizens already on the waiting list for State housing..."

I am yet to be convinced that 126,000 persons have applied for state-supplied housing accommodation -as the Housing Development Corporation [HDC], of late, to defend its misguided bulldozing of foodcrops, has been hollering- for that would mean some 500,000 to 600,000 citizens are homeless.

Time to review!

The prudent do not wait till the financial year ends to begin the planning process for the ensuing year.
Time, therefore, to review who did what [and what was done by whom] since the end of May 2010, so that the necessary adjustments may be made. And, believe you me, fine-tuning is needed...for the thing to run smooth.

Longing to have a hart.

Dear DPP, COP, A-G, Whomever,

Where is Calder Hart?

Wasn't he the guy whose escapades galvanized the premature demise of the PNM?

Where is Calder Hart?
