Of the people!

The expression ---People's Partnership--- suggests that the "Partnership" is owned by the "People", for the word ---People's--- is a possessive noun.

With ownership comes many rights [regarding what's owned] that are inalienable, paramount among which are the rights quietly to enjoy [or derive benefit] from the thing possessed.

Such benefit may only be had when the owner determines how the thing possessed is used ---any other course would mean others beside the owner benefit.

Having over the past forty-two years observed many elected representatives of the people ["of" means the people own them] fall by the wayside [for their ignorance of "of"], it's hereby strongly recommended to all in whose garden the hereof moral falls that, quickly, they check themselves, lest they, too, become dispossessed of whatever privilege, or prestige, currently they own.

#@*!!! ODPM! Let's go with 911!

ODPM is a four-letter word signifying six ---Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management.

Maybe that's why, whenever disaster impends or strikes, ODPM hits the imminently- or actually-affected for six?

How?

By causing precious time to be lost, as, whenever a desperate one calls ODPM via ODPM's seven-number contact ---640-1285/8905--- whoever would answer advises the desperate one instead to call the relevant Regional Corporation [RRC] for the RRC, in turn, to call ODPM to tell ODPM the same thing that the desperate one called ODPM to report.

By the way!
Um! Why didn't ODPM simplify it for a desperate caller by choosing 640-ODPM [640-6376] or, better yet, just ODPM [6376], instead of 640-1285/8905?

Back to business! From personal knowledge and experience, most times, ODPM would not even advise the desperate caller of the RRC's number.

Makes sense to establish one easy-to-remember/dial, toll-free hotline to cater for every possible type of disaster which, individually or collectively, may distress man or beast in Trinidad and Tobago.

Such is the case in the developed world, the world every man and woman in Trinidad and Tobago loves/longs to copycat.

The foremost inspiration for such copycathy [© Richard Wm. Thomas] is the United States of America.

#@*!!! ODPM and their
640-1285/8905! Let's go, then, with 911!
