Baleezay shade: NOT a business-friendly place.

This is a tale that's replicated a millionfold throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

Despite all the official hype that otherwise suggest, over the years and from personal experience as a businessman I've learnt that Trinidad and Tobago, once under the baleezay shade, is NOT a business-friendly place, therefore, my any business venture shall never soar to the heights which it potentially can. For, at every turn, to move forward with an enterprising initiative, there's nothing but red tape after red tape placed in the entrepreneur's way, which in turn has led to a culture of graft and corruption amongst public officialdom. However, because of strict adherence to the parental guidance from which I benefitted, no public official has ever --nor, will ever-- receive any inducement from me to massage any process that needs to be undertaken (who knows, perhaps that's why my local forays don't astound?). Such a convention is a national shame, but can be replaced for the better --only if good men and women (there are many) begin to raise their voices and dip their fingers in open disgust and protest.
